Mr. Twister Too! provided a spontaneous performance at the Salvage Station’s Sunday October 9th Benefit for Chad Campbell. Chad is an Asheville bicyclist seriously injured on the road while riding in Leicester. The event organized by Chad’s friends and former co-workers to raise funds for his medical care and rehabilitation featured 3 raffles, 2 silent auctions and 3 bands.
The young entrepreneur enjoyed donated tips from his 2-hour performance to Chad’s recovery fund.
“It feels great to help. It feels kind of weird (but really good) when I haven’t even met him yet,” Mr. Twister Too! says.
A locally-owned small business, Twister Theater actively gives back to our community. Recent performances have benefited the non-profit Alzheimer’s Foundation and Sleep Tight Kids. We enjoy performing occasionally for residents at Aston Park Health Center with keyboard czar Mark Levin who performs well-loved tunes; November finds us there once more. We’re also providing a special non-profit performance for the ZERO Prostate Cancer Run/Walk on October 29th at Carrier Park. See you there!
Organizers say the Sunday event raised a total of $7,500. Join hundreds of Asheville heroes and keep up with Chad’s recovery here.
